Bray Doubles on Bubble

With blinds at 3,000/6,000/6,000 Matthew Myers opened the hijack to 20,000, Ramin Ramazi called in the cutoff and Matthew Bray moved all in from the button for 95,000. Action came back around to Myers who jammed over the top to isolate Bray.

Myers asked if Bray had aces which we all know means Myers held kings, which turned out to be double suited kings. Bray was behind and at risk with a suited ace and three broadways.

Myers: K♥K♠T♠5♥
Bray: A♥Q♥J♣6♦

Bray caught a pair with backdoor hearts on the flop of Q♠4♦2♥ but needed to improve. The A♦ turn improved Bray to top two pair to take the lead. Myers could now eliminate Bray with a third king or drilling his turned gutshot to broadway.

The river T♦ was a safe card for Bray to secure his double up.
