Burmeister in Another Cooler

Hand-for-hand seemed like it could last for multiple levels. The short stacks kept doubling up whether they were ahead or behind when all the chips got in the middle.

Russell Kriewald went all in from the cutoff and Samuel Burmeister jammed over the top on the button. When players were allowed to table their hands Burmeister was in another cooler.

Previously Burmeister had found himself on the wrong side of a cooler with set over set. Now he had T♣T♥ up against Kriewald's K♣K♠. He was dominated but he was the covering stack; Kriewald was at risk.

The flop immediately sent Burmeister from worst to first with T♦J♠3♠. Burmeister found the two-outer.

Kriewald needed a king and had two shots at it but the A♥ turn and 7♣ river sent Kriewald out as the bubble.

The 13 remaining players all secured $280 with the final 10 players moving on to Sunday's day 2 restart.
