Goldberg Runs Into Hall

Hand-for-hand was going orbit after orbit until what seemed like a normal pot escalated to an all in situation between Ronald Hall and Alexander Goldberg.

Action picked up on the K♥ turn with a flop of Q♦T♥5♦.

Goldberg had checked from the small blind. Hall then led out for 65,000. Goldberg took some time before declaring pot to put the pressure back on Hall. Hall moved all in and Goldberg made the call.

Hall had turned broadway while Goldberg was trying to force Hall off the hand with key blockers to both the heart flush draw and Broadway.

Hall: A♣J♦8♠2♣
Goldberg: A♥A♠7♣3♣

The 6♥ hit the river and the bubble was burst. The remaining 12 players each locked up $780 and continue to battle it out for the $8,635 to 1st place.
