There was a limp from middle position by Cory Unger before Will Lahti jammed the hijack for 21,500. Andrew Estrada quickly moved in from the button and Mustafa Sakall went all in for less from the small blind.
Lahti was the first to show his 55 but kept saying “I think I stepped in it.” Estrada and Sakall had not tabled their hands as they watched their side pot created. Players at the table speculated the 55 of Lahti might be best which was confirmed once Estrada and Sakall both tabled AK.
Lahti seemed to be in better shape than he thought until the flop came out A♣4♦2♣. Both Estrada and Sakall had outflopped Lahti who now needed a 3 or a 5 to retake the lead. Lahti went unimproved on the T♣K♣ runout and surprisingly no one flushed out with four clubs on the board. Lahti was out and Estrada and Sakall chopped up his stack.
