Pinnoju's Dry Guy

Kenneth Adams opened the cutoff to 40,000 and Vishwanath Pinnoju called in the small blind.

Adams and Pinnoju went heads up to the monotone flop of K♦6♦4♦. Pinnoju donk led for 65,000 and Adams used both hands to move all 345,000 of his chips into the middle. Pinnoju went into the tank.

After a few minutes, Pinnoju grabbed a stack of 5K chips and put in the call.

Cards on their backs
Pinnoju: A♦7♥
Adams: K♥Q♦

Adams was at risk but out in front with top pair. Pinnoju could eliminate Adams with an ace or any diamond. The K♠ on the turn took aces off the board for Pinnoju.

The 7♣ river left Pinnoju high and dry. Adams secured a massive double up.
