Garlapati Sends Shapiro Out in 18th

Jeffrey Urbanovsky jammed UTG for 230,000 and Kenneth Shapiro came over the top for 295,000 from the lowjack. Action stalled on the button as Dhillon Reddy seemed like he wanted to take his shot at a double elimination but he ultimately folded and the blinds also mucked.

Urbanovsky was in great shape with QQ dominating the 99's of Shapiro. The run out provided no sweat and no 9. Urbanovsky doubled up and reduced Shapiro to 65,000.

Shapiro left with just 3bb went all in the very next hand and Ravitej Garlapati raised to isolate from the small blind. Shapiro's A♣3♣ was once again dominated by Garlapati's A♥T♥. Again, the runout was no help to Shapiro and he was sent to the rail in 18th place for $910.
