Banks Beats Yao's Blind Hand
Scott Banks open-shoved UTG for 225k and the action folded all the way back around to Jiayi Yao in the big blind who had not yet looked at his cards...
Yao was sitting on his last 75k (5 bbs) and he was debating if he wanted to gamble, as he was already committed for 15k.
"Alright, let's do it!" he announced and tossed out the last of his chips to put himself at risk.
Banks then tabled A♦K♦ while Yao flipped over the K♠, which was not ideal unless he had another king in the hole. Unfortunately, that was not the case as he peeled the 2♠, but the table gave him some encouragement as it was, in fact, suited.
Alas, the board came out the wrong color with the 6♠5♦8♦T♦J♦ to give Banks the nut flush, sending Yao to the payout desk.
