Double Elimination at Break
The clock was sounding off and Tournament Director Justin Hammer was announcing the upcoming break as a massive hand broke out on table 19.
Scott Banks opened UTG and Michael Oneill went all in next to act. Ashish Khanna went all in for less and Banks called it off covering and dominating both players. Banks tabled A♣A♦ and the table reacted audibly to Khanna tabling K♠K♥. Oneill didn't want to watch the runout with his 8♣8♦.
Runout: J♣3♥3♦T♥2♠
Neither of the two outers came. Banks' aces held and sent Khanna and Oneill to the rail in 14th and 13th places respectively. Both players collected $1,200 for their efforts.
The remaining 12 players now return to 50,000/75,000/75,000. Each player has $1,520 locked up with the next pay jump at the final table. Banks has a strong chip lead as the final table approaches.
