Matthew Higgins came into the final table in the middle of the pack. After 47 hands he had made multiple pay jumps and was looking to build a stack on his way to win it all.

On blinds of 150,000/300,000/300,000, there was an open to 650,000 from Robert Dreyfuss in the cutoff. Action folded to Matthew Higgins' big blind and Higgins looked down at the infamous drawing hand, ace-king.

Higgins went all in for 5,200,000 effective. Dreyfuss quickly called and tabled K♠K♣. Higgins stood up after rolling over A♣K♥. He needed a Barry Greenstein - an ace from space.

Higgins: A♣K♥
Dreyfuss: K♠K♣
Board: J♦J♠8♥3♠8♠

Higgins couldn't find an ace on the double-paired runout and he was eliminated in fifth place for $59,120.

Dreyfuss: 20,840,000
Higgins: 0
