Lyons All In Drawing Dead (1H-LC)
There is likely no worse feeling in poker than getting all your chips in with no live outs.
Towards the end of 400/800/800, Andrew Nichols opened the cutoff to 2,000. Christopher Lyons 3-bet to 4,100 from the small blind and Nichols called.
The flop came J♣9♦3♦. Action checked through on the flop but it wouldn't check through on the 8♠ turn.
Lyons jammed for 21,300 and Nichols called it off with the nut straight. Lyons' aces were drawing dead and he headed to the cage to reenter the tournament.
