Shabaz Straightens Out (1H-LC)

Chips are finding their way around the tables in Flight H of the Dallas Duel III.

On blinds of 400/800/800, William Vincent opened from the lojack to 2,000. He was called in the cutoff and button by Kayvon Shabaz and James O'Mara respectively.

The flop brought J♣6♣5♦. Vincent continued for 2,000. Shabaz found a quick raise to 6,000, which folded out O'Mara but Vincent put in the call.

Vincent jammed on the 9♠ turn and quickly got called by Shabaz who turned the nut straight with 8♠7♠. Vincent's tabled T♣7♣ meant he was live to a flush draw and double gutshot straight draw.

The 4♠ river secured the double up for Shabaz. Vincent took a hit but still has a playable stack.

Shabaz: +30,400 (56,800)
Vincent: -26,400
