Trevor Doughty had the chip lead on the money bubble and put it to good use.

Mermelstein was short-stacked and needed the double to stay alive. He was ahead with king-high but Doughty found a pair on the flop to take the lead. Mermelstein turned open-ended but bricked on the A♦ river to be eliminated on the stone bubble.
