Carter Wins Seniors Event

Shortly after their previous all-in confrontation, John Carter and Richard Mason got all their chips in the middle again.

Carter had raised to 125,000, which effectively put Mason all-in-to-call. Mason called and tabled Kh8s. Carter mentioned he hadn't looked at his cards yet.

Mason's king-high was good enough, but he also paired his eight on the flop. Carter had a gutshot to a six and he drilled it on the river to close out the tournament.

Richard Mason earned $1,660 for 2nd place and John Carter secured the coveted PokerAtlas Tour trophy and $2,560 for 1st place!
