Day 2: Meneses Makes Straight to Take Down Doan

Ethan Doan min-opened from the CO to 24k and was three-bet by Jhonathan Meneses on the button to 65k. Mitchell Chavez calls from the small blind and Doan closes the action to go to a flop of 9♣7♥5♠. The action checks around and they go to the turn T♦, which sees Chavez lead out for 125k and Doan calls. But then Meneses moves all in to cover both players, producing a fold from Chavez and a call from Doan, putting himself at risk. 

Doan tabled 9♥9♦ for a sneaky flopped set but his stomach dropped when Meneses showed J♥8♥ for the nut straight. The river K♠ fails to pair the board for Doan and the huge pot is shipped over to Meneses.
