Event #2: Anderson Eliminates Masters to End Day 1A; Players Bag

Short-stacked Ryan Masters opened to 86,000 preflop, leaving 20,000 behind, and the action was then on Lang Anderson, who thought for a few moments before moving all in. 

Masters sighed but quickly made the call anyway and the cards were on their backs.

Masters started off ahead with his ace-high, but the flop of K♣Q♣9♥ quickly changed that as Anderson made top pair. 

The turn 8♣ gave Masters some extra outs as he picked up a flush draw, but the river was the brick 4♥ sent him to the rail while Anderson was awarded the pot.
