Once players are in the money in today's $40k Guarantee $400 Mystery Bounty - with 1-in-8 entries earning a tournament cash - every remaining player receives a wrapped "Gift Box" containing an unknown amount of money.
The dollar value of each mystery gift is determined by the number of entries in the event once registration closes. At a minimum, there is guaranteed to be one mystery gift of at least $5,000.
Once in the money, when a participant knocks someone else out of the tournament, they collect their opponents "Gift" and have the option to open:
a) that gift
b) their own gift, or
c) someone else's gift at their table, that's the 'gift exchange' part.
