The complete action was missed on this hand but was retold by the table after the fact:
After an open from Duc Nguyen, Allison Mazaro three-bet and the action folded to Nguyen who called to see a flop of A♥Q♥8♣. Nguyen then check-called a bet from Mazaro to continue to the turn 8♥, completing the flush and pairing the board.
Nguyen checked, Mazaro bet, Nguyen moved all in, and Mazaro snap-called to put him at risk.
Mazaro then confidently tabled Q♣Q♠ for a full house while Nguyen just held A♦4♦ for two pair, but the river was the brutal A♠ to give Nguyen a superior full house.
After suffering this brutal beat, Mazaro then got it all in again the very next hand against Nguyen, this time with her tournament life on the line.
Again, Mazaro tabled Q♥Q♠ and was a massive favorite against the 10♦10♠ of Nguyen, but deck was not her friend as it came 5♥9♥7♣J♦8♥ to give Nguyen a runner-runner straight to send her to the rail in absolutely disgusting fashion.
Meanwhile, Nguyen currently sits at over 1,800,000 and is now the dominant chip leader.
