$100k Day 2: Owens Hero-Calls to Take Chip Lead; Alaniz Exits

After some back-and-forth preflop, Arnold Alaniz made it 390k to go from the button and was called by Andre Owens in the hijack to see a flop of Q♥5♠4♠.

Owens checked, Alaniz continued for 300k, but Owens wasn't anywhere and made the call to go to the turn J♥.

Owens checked, Alaniz fired out for 450k, and again, Owens stuck around to see the 7♥ fall on the river. 

Owens checked to Alaniz once more, who unloaded the clip and moved all in for 495k, which Owens called to put him at risk. 

Alaniz sighed and flipped over A♦K♦ for just ace-high...

"YESS!!" Owens shouted and stood up, slapping down A♣4♣ for bottom pair to take out Alaniz and claim the monstrous pot of over 3 million!
