Kawamura Bags Flight Six Chip Lead

With the elimination of Ricardo Eugenio, the remaining nine players in flight six of the $100K GTD Scary Good Bounty Roundup advance to Sunday's 3:00 PM Day Two Restart.

A few hands before Eugenio's elimination, a massive three-way all-in occurred on the other table. Thomas Kawamura opened to 40,000 from the cutoff on blinds of 10,000/20,000/20,000. David Trausch moved all-in for 50,000 from the button and Jess Richards iso-jammed from the small blind.

The iso-jam did not isolate. Kawamura called to put himself at risk.

Richards and Trausch went unimproved on the runout. The only player that improved was Kawamura. He flopped top set and unnecessarily improved to quad kings on the river.

Trausch was eliminated and Kawamura secured a massive pot just before bagging up for Day Two. Kawamura would bag 807,000, which is 62 big blinds when blinds roll back to 6,000/12,000/12,000 on Day Two.
