Richards Rivers a Chop

Players in the sixth flight of the $100K GTD Scary Good Bounty Roundup are slowly creeping up on their next break before they approach the money bubble.

On blinds of 2,000/4,000/4,000, Jess Richards opened to 8,000 from under the gun. Richards was called by Santos Guajardo, Joe Eckford, and Bichar Myrtil on the button and in the blinds respectively.

The flop came 6♠5♠4♥. Action checked around to Guajardo on the button and he bet 10,000. Eckford called in the small blind, Myrtil folded, and Richards called.

The 7♣ turn checked through quickly and the 3♠ river provided a seven-high straight on board. Again, action checked through quickly. Richards proudly announced, "board."

Eckford also declared board and Guajardo was laughing as he tabled his counterfeit pocket nines. Everyone loves a chopped pot, right? 

29 players remain in the field as players approach a 10-minute break in approximately 30 minutes. When they return from break, players will close in on the money bubble.

14 players will finish in the money with one pay jump before the final 9 players advance to Sunday's 3:00 PM Day Two Restart.
