Opener 1F: Cote Gets 2-Outed, Then Doubles Back
On the bag bubble, Daniel Doan moved all in and was called by Bob Cote to put him at risk.
Doan tabled J♦J♣ and was flipping against the A♠K♠ of Cote.
"Agh, you got it," Doan sighed as the flop came out 9♣4♥K♥ to give Cote the lead with his king, but the turn immediately came the J♣ to give Doan a set of jacks and the river Q♥ earned him the double.
Cote then began shoving several hands in a row until he was called by Jonathan Vuong who slightly covered.
Cote held Q♠7♥ and would need some help against the A♦4♠ of Vuong.
The flop of K♦9♣J♣ changed nothing and Cote began to stand up, but he quickly sat back down when the T♦ rolled off on the turn to give him a straight. The J♦ completed the board and he was awarded the double.
Vuong was left with crumbs after that but managed to double up back to 60,000.
Doan - 280,000
Cote - 190,000
Vuong - 60,000
