Go Back Up

Kam Surrenders his Stack

After losing a preflop all-in hand with AK against the K9 of Lawrence Lazar, Kamoru Yusuf was left with 10,000 in chips with blinds at 4,000/8,000/8,000.

Yusuf would have been forced all in from the big blind the following hand, but instead, against the urging of the tournament director, he decided to surrender his stack as he walked to the payout window in a huff.

The players left in the tournament couldn't believe it as they have all seen an instance of a chip-and-a-chair story, but that doesn't happen if you simply give up.
