After a preflop betting frenzy, all of the chips between James Koenig, Douglass Koebbe, and David 'Lefty' Diaz got into the middle, with Diaz covering.

Koebbe: A♣T♠
Koenig: Q♦6♦
Diaz: 8♦8♥

Miraculously, the runout of K♥2♦5♣2♣J♠ meant Diaz's eights held to eliminate both opponents.

With the double elimination, the field was cut to ten and the clock was stopped as the surviving players bagged up as follows:

1. Anthony Truong - 888,000
2. Mike Abdul - 601,000
3. Edward Nassif - 595,000
4. David Diaz - 557,000
5. Gabby Andrade - 476,000
6. Nick Toralba - 430,000
7. Glen Marshall - 413,000
8. Elior Elia - 346,000
9. James Sunwoo - 288,000
10. Nick Russo - 209,000
