Trevino Forces Fold to take Chip Lead

On the money bubble, Chezz Romero opened to 18,000 and was called by Esirigho Otite on the button but then Nicolas Trevino three-bet to 59,000 on the button. Romero quickly got out of the way by Otite called to see a flop of 7♥J♠8♣.

Trevino continued for a large sizing of 80,000 but this did not faze Otite as he quickly made the call.

When the turned peeled the 6♠, Trevino announced he was all in for 356,000, barely covering Otite, who then went deep into the tank.

After almost a full minute of head shaking and painful deliberation, he finally threw his hand into the muck, showing Q♠9♠ for a straight and flush combo draw.

Otite then went for a walk to clear his head while Trevino raked in the huge pot to catapult him into the chip lead.

Trevino - 675,000
Otite - 314,000
