Gkatzoulis Calls Down Hicks

On a flop of 8♣7♥J♣, Christina Hicks led out for 55,000 and was called by Georgios Gkatoulis to see the turn peel the 6♦.

Hicks continued for 75,000 on this street but Gkatoulis stuck around to see the 2♣ fall on the river.

Hicks loaded the clip and fired off another 110,000, and Gkatoulis paused to think for a bit. 

After close to 30 seconds, he tossed out chips to make the call. 

"Eight," Hicks announced and flipped over 8♥9♥ for a pair of eights, but Gkatoulis tabled A♠J♦ to have her beat with top pair and the pot was shipped his way.
