Lazar Jams Flop, Lam Folds Queens

Tony Lam opened to 18,000 and Steve Byer called, but then Lawrence Lazar three-bet to 67,000 on the button.

Lam was the only player to call and the two went to the flop of K♣J♣3♥. After some thought, Lam checked to Lazar, who tossed out a bet of 100,000, which was enough to cover Lam.

Lam then went deep into the tank and began thinking aloud. After close to a minute, he decided to fold, showing pocket queens... but then Lazar did him a favor by showing him ace-king as he gathered the pot.

Lazar - 505,000
Lam - 90,000
