On a turn board reading 3♦2♥7♠A♣, Charles Sims checked, Harold Vetter bet 1,100,000, and Sims called.

When the 9♦ hit the river, Sims checked once more, which prompted Vetter to move all in for 3,175,000.

After a confirmed count and some time to think, Sims set out a stack to put Vetter at risk and tabled A♠Q♠ for top pair.

Unfortunately, he was then shown A♦3♥ by Vetter for two pair and the big pot was shipped across the table for a double.

Vetter - 11,500,000
Sims - 12,500,000
