On a heads-up flop of 9♣J♦Q♥, Zachary Vuong led out for 10,000 but was then raised to 30,000 by Eric Crews. After some thought, Vuong made the call and the two went to the turn 2♠.
Vuong checked to Crews, who then moved all in for around 70,000, sending Vuong into the tank.
After over a minute, Vuong made the call to put Crews at risk and the cards were tabled.
Vuong flipped over Q♠6♣ for top pair, but he was drawing dead against Crews' flopped straight with 10♠8♠.
The river J♠ changed nothing and the pot was pushed over to Crews.
Left short, Vuong got it all in soon after against Raul Garcia and Carl Nece.
Garcia and Nece then checked it through the 6♠Q♠6♥Q♥10♣ runout and the hands were tabled.
Vuong thought he won with K♥10♠ but then Nece showed A♥10♥ to have him out-kicked, sending him to the rail on the Day 2 bubble.
