1E: Meza Cracks Alexander's Queens

Christopher Meza opened to 12,000 from the CO and was then three-bet by DJ Alexander on the button to 33,000.

The action folded back to Meza who made the call and the two saw a flop of JxTx3x.

Meza checked, Alexander continued for 25,000, Meza check-raised to 70,000, and Alexander responded by moving all in for 165,000.

Meza quickly called and the hands were tabled, with Alexander at risk.

Alexander tabled QQ and was a big favorite against the KJ of Meza, but the turn was not his friend as it came another J to give Meza the lead with trips. The board failed to provide a queen on the river for Alexander and he was sent to the rail shaking his head while Meza raked in a 400,000 chip pot.
