Opener: David Vu Eliminated in 7th Place ($14,800)

David Vu moved all in preflop for 2,575,000 with 9♠9♦ UTG and the action folded all the way to chip leader James Gravatt on the button who looked down at A♣K♣ and quickly called while the blinds got out of the way. 

Vu would need to hold to stay alive with his nines, but the runout of 7♦7♥4♥J♣K♦ gave Gravatt the king on the river to send Vu to the exit in 7th place.
