Pengelly Takes the Chip Lead, Duckworth Exits

After a preflop betting war, James Duckworth moved all in and was called by big stack Will Pengelly to put him at risk.

Duckworth tabled Q♦Q♣ and would need to hold in a flip against the A♥K♥ of Pengelly. Duckworth was still ahead on the flop of  2♥J♥5♣, but it was not ideal as Pengelly picked up the nut flush draw.

Sure enough, the turn A♦ left Duckworth drawing only to the Q♠ and the river J♦ sent him to the rail while Pengelly collected the pot.

With this win, Pengelly's stack nears a million and is the largest in the room as of right now.

Pengelly - 970,000
