Varnell Doubles Dharmisetty, then Bounces Back
Craig Varnell got it all in preflop against Pavel Dharmisetty, whom he covered.
Varnell flipped over A♣10♠ and was ahead of the J♠10♥ held by Dharmisetty, but the runout produced a jack and Dharmisetty was pushed the pot for the double.
The very next hand, Varnell moved all in again for 255,000 and was called by John West to put him at risk.
This time it was Varnell who was behind with K♠9♠ against the A♦8♣ of West, and sure enough, the runout of 7♥9♣5♠J♦5♥ gave Varnell the win with his nine.
"Gotta get it in bad to win!" Varnell said , shaking his head as the pot was pushed his way.
He then proceeded to take down another substantial pot against West the following hand and has bounced back to 830,000.
Varnell - 830,000
West - 650,000
