After an UTG open from Elan Lepovic with 8♠8♣ to 1m and a call from Sebastien Guinand with K♥Q♥, Jared Ward moved all in from the big blind for 5.375m with 5♣5♠.

Lepovic folded the superior hand but Guinand made the call to put Ward at risk.

Ward would need to hold with his two fives in this flip, but he got just about the worst flop possible as it came K♣Q♣Q♠ to immediately give Guinand a full house. The board of 2♣3♣ failed to give Ward running quads and he was sent to the payout desk in 9th place as the first casualty at the final table.

Guinand - 27.3m
Ward - 0
