Day 2: Ace-King Good for Alexander

On a heads-up flop of 4♣2♦A♣, Peter Tran checked, DJ Alexander bet 22,000, and Tran check-raised to 55,000. 

Alexander tossed out a call and the two continued to the turn 3♠. 

Tran fired out for 60,000 and again Alexander called, only leaving himself around 150,000 behind. The river fell the J♦ and after some thought, Tran decided to check and Alexander checked back. Tran tabled Q♦3♣ for a pair of threes but Alexander held A♥K♦ for top-top and he was awarded the pot.
