Day 2: Chuong Snap-Calls, Normand Exits
On a heads-up completed board of J♣A♣2♥8♠8♣, Eunice Chuong checked to Derek Normand, who announced a bet of 485,000. Chuong quickly tossed out a chip to make the call and tabled A♦J♥ for top two pair.
"The only thing I was afraid of, was trying to get you off of a chop," Normand sighed as he showed A-9.
Chuong was then shipped the pot while Normand was left with a single 5,000 chip. He did manage to win the next pot with a runner-runner flush against Gabriel Andrade but was eventually taken out the following hand when he was forced into the big blind.
