Day 2: Nguyen Hits Runner-Runner on Fitzgerald

Eric Nguyen open-shipped preflop for 465,000 and the action folded to Michael Fitzgerald who tanked for a good while before he made the call to put Nguyen at risk. 

Nguyen turned over A♠6♠ but was up against the superior A♥J♥ of Fitzgerald. The flop of 4♣Q♥9♠ did nothing for either player, but the turn 7♠ brought in a backdoor flush draw for Nguyen. Sure enough, the 2♠ smacked down on the river to give him the nut flush and he was awarded the pot while Fitzgerald watched as the majority of his stack was shipped across the table. 

Left short, Fitzgerald exited soon after.
