1D: Nguyen Hits Quads for Double Knockout

After an open to 8,000 by Trang Nguyen, Jonathan Park moved all in for around 50,000 from the small blind followed by Edgar Hinrichs in the big blind for slightly less. Nguyen thought about it for around 20 seconds before he made the call to put both players at risk and the cards were on their backs.

An ace appeared right in the window to give Hinrich hopes of a triple-up, but a seven appeared right behind it on the flop of 7♥6♦A♦. To make matters worse, the turn was the 7♠ to further improve Nguyen to quads and the river was the meaningless 10♦ to send Hinrich and Park to the rail.
