Alvarez Flops a Set; Hirsch Heads Out

After a player opened to 8,500, Amanda Alvarez three-bet jammed for 61,000 and Richard Hirsch made the call for a little less while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Hirsch would need some help to stay alive, but the flop of 9♦Q♣6♦ was not ideal as Alvarez made top set of queens. The runout of 3♦4♦ put a four-flush on the board, but with neither holding a diamond, Alvarez was awarded the pot while Hirsch hit the rail.
