Day 1I: Givens Holds Against Ace-King

On a heads-up flop of 5♠T♣9♦, Nicolas Torres led out for 13,000 but then William Givens moved all in for 64,500. Torres tank for a bit but ultimately made the call to put Given at risk. 

Givens tabled Q♠T♦ for top pair and was ahead of the A♣K♠ of Torres, but would need to hold to stay alive. The turn J♠ changed Torres' king-outs to queen-outs as both players picked up a straight draw but the river was the brick 4♦ to award the double to Givens.
