Day 1D: Richards Breaks The Curse!

Jessica Richards opened preflop and was called by Jeffrey Urbanovsky, but then the action folded to Darrin Mize who put in a three-bet. 

Richards responded by moving all in and Mize quickly called to put himself at risk after Urbanovsky got out of the way. 

Mize tabled a very strong A♥K♥, but Richards had the goods with A♣A♠. There was no sweat on the runout of Q♦9♦Q♣2♠7♥ and Richards was awarded the pot while Mize headed to the exit. 

"I did it! The curse is broken!" Richards laughed as the running joke is that the live reporter (me) is her Jeff Platt curse as she constantly gets sucked out on. But no longer!
