A Pair of Blind Versus Blind All-Ins

Players are now in the money in Event #8: Monster Stack and the chips are flying now. Table 20 just had two back-to-back all-ins blind versus blind.

On blinds of 6,000/12,000/12,000, action folded around to William Beauchamp who open-jammed into Evan Burns as the covering stack. Burns shrugged as he called it off for 151,000 effective.

Beauchamp: J♣J♦
Burns: J♠T♣
Board: 8♦7♦4♦5♠9♥

Burns was in bad shape preflop but did flop a gutshot straight draw, which he drilled on the 9♥ river. Beauchamp took it well as the whole table was amazed by the runout.

Burns didn't hold onto the chips for long. In the very next hand, action again folded around to the small blind and Burns jammed into Michael Sanchez. Sanchez woke up with aces.

Burns: K♦4♦
Sanchez: A♠A♥
Board: Q♥9♣5♠6♦2♥

Burns didn't flop any additional equity this time. It was a clean runout for the aces to double up for 146,000 effective.

Action continues in the Monster Stack event as the other half of the room is starting to fill up with Event #10: the $25K GTD Black Chip County.
