Players are coming back to blinds of 2,000/4,000/4,000 and Xiaoru Cui leads the 55 returning players with 494,0000. Right before break, Cui got involved in a multi-way hand.
Danny Marx had opened to 6,000 UTG on blinds of 1,500/3,000/3,000. Robert Schimmel called in the hijack and Cui defended his big blind.
The flop came king-high with K♠5♥2♣. Cui checked and Marx continued for 6,500. Schimmel and Cui called.
Marx slowed down on the board-pairing 5♦ turn. Cui had checked and Marx checked behind. Schimmel then led out for 11,000 and only Cui called.
The 4♦ completed the board and Cui stole the betting lead for 33,000. Schimmel didn't like Cui's lead. Schimmel took a few minutes before folding to Cui.
While Cui leads the field for now. He still has to outlast another 25 players before the players reach the money and only 19 players will advance to Day Two.
