Players in Flight 1A of the $250K GTD PLO Multi-Flight have reached the final table, with Ivonir Bento leading in chips and applying pressure as the money bubble approaches.
Bento has been putting his chip lead to use. He has entered nearly every pot since players combined for the final table.
On blinds of 1,500/3,000/3,000, Nizamur Rahman opened to 10,500 and only Bento called from the small blind.
The flop brought T♣7♥6♥. Bento checked to Rahman. Rahman continued for 25,000 and Bento quickly declared, "pot." Rahman thought about it for a while before folding. Bento takes down another pot. He had taken down the previous hand as well.
On the next hand, action folded around to Bento on the button and he opened to 10,000. Andrew Dinger defended his big blind.
The flop came A♦3♣2♦ and action checked through. The 9♣ fell on the turn. Dinger led out into the chip leader. Bento cut out calling chips and took over a minute before folding to Dinger.
Players can likely expect Bento to continue applying pressure as they are on the soft money bubble. The next three players eliminated will leave with nothing. Six players will finish in the money and four players will bag up for Day Two.
