Players are battling it out in the first flight of the $300K GTD Multi-Flight Opener.

On blinds of 2,500/5,000/5,000, Thai Ha opened to 12,500 from the hijack. Yonghun Ko three-bet to 37,500 from the small blind. Ha gave it quite a bit of thought before finding the four-bet jam as the covering stack. Ko snap-called. Ha was dominated.

Ha: A♦J♠
Ko: A♠K♠
Board: Q♠9♣6♥T♠8♥

The flop wasn't much help to Ha's dominated ace until he turned open-ended. Ha drilled the 8♥ river to send Ko out on an early exit.

16 players remain with 14 players finishing in the money and eight players advancing to Sunday's Day Two Restart.

Flight 1A Payouts
1st-8th: Day Two
9th-11th: $510
12th-14th: $460

There are five more starting flights over the next three days for Event #2. Sunday will include a morning turbo flight and the Day Two Restart is scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday.
