Mills Sends Hohenstein Out on Money Bubble
The money bubble was approaching the two-hour mark when Aaron Hohenstein opened from the cutoff to 20,000 on blinds of 5,000/10,000/10,000.
Action folded into the blinds. Kasey Mills jammed from the big blind with a covering stack and Hohenstein called it off. Mills rolled over a pair of threes; Hohenstein had a suited ace.
Mills: 3♥3♠
Hohenstein: A♠9♠
Board: 7♥4♦3♦J♦K♥
Mills drilled a set on the flop. Hohenstein was drawing at runner runner and the J♦ turn sealed his fate as the stone bubble. The K♥ completed the board and sent the remaining 20 players into the money.
There will be one pay jump before the final 13 players bag up for Monday's Day Two Restart.
