Nadal Folds Queens; Fish Scoops Multi-way with Worse

One of the best feelings in poker is making a correct fold. On the flip side, an incorrect fold for piles feels bad man.

On blinds of 2,000/4,000/4,000, Shane Nadal opened to 15,000 from UTG+1. Action folded around to Michael Fish in the cutoff and he moved all-in. Thomas Geschrey and Jiancheng Han then moved all-in from the button and big blind respectively.

Fish, Geschrey, and Han all had very similar stacks. Geschrey was the effective stack for 56,500. Han had 57,500 and Fish had 61,500. Action was still pending in the UTG+1 with Nadal and he didn't like the action.

Nadal folded queens face up. Nadal jumped out of his seat as soon as he saw jacks, sixes, and fives tabled.

Fish: J♣J♦
Han: 5♠5♥ (all-in)
Geschrey: 6♠6♦ (all-in)
Board: 7♦2♥2♣Q♥4♥

The flop came seven-high. The Q♥ on the turn was an extra needle for Nadal as he watched Fish scoop a three-way all-in.

Nadal would've had Fish covered. Instead, Nadal and many other players at the table are now covered by Fish.

Fish: 196,500
Han: eliminated
Geschrey: eliminated

121 players remain. 63 players will finish in the money with $580 as the min cash and $31,950 up top for 1st place!
