William Vincent and Ganesh Thummula just clashed in a three-bet pot.

With blinds at 6,000/12,000/12,000, Gene Pyo opened UTG to 24,000. Action folded to William Vincent's hijack and he three-bet to 80,000. Ganesh Thummula cold-called on the button and Pyo folded.

The flop came paired with J♠4♦4♥. Vincent moved all-in and Thummula called.

Thummula: A♥J♦
Vincent: A♠Q♠
Board: J♠4♦4♥2♥9♣

The 2♥ killed any backdoor hope for Vincent. He was drawing at a queen to eliminate Thummula and it did not come. Thummula doubled for 211,000 effective post-flop.

Thummula: 638,000

65 players remain with a pay jump coming up at 63rd place for $1,000.
