Twu Flops Full House in Multi-Flight Opener

David Carter smashed the flop and thought he got lucky. It was a different story when cards were tabled.

On blinds of 600/1,200/1,200, David Carter opened to 3,000 from the hijack. Yonghun Ko called on the button, Ting-Pyng Twu called in the small blind, and Michael Behgam defended his big blind.

The flop was paired with 7♥7♦2♦. Action checked to Carter, who continued for 10,500. Ko called on the button, Twu called in the small blind, and Behgam folded.

Twu checked the J♣ turn. Carter wasn't slowing down. He continued again for 37,500. Ko folded out and Twu went all-in for less.

Carter confidently tabled 9♠7♠ for trip sevens. Twu had flopped better with deuces full of sevens. Carter was live and drawing at a bigger boat, but the T♣ fell on the river. Twu doubled up.

Carter: 9♠7♠
Twu: 2♠2♣
Board: 7♥7♦2♦J♣T♣
