On a heads-up board of A♣6♦3♦9♦, Aaron McEvoy checked to Kenneth Toth, who bet 250,000.

After thinking it over, McEvoy made the call and the two continued to the river 8♠.

McEvoy checked again to Toth, who set out a bet of 500,000, sending McEvoy into the tank as that was most of his stack.

After a while, he decided to make the call but was shown A♥Q♣ for top pair and he quickly mucked his hand to award Toth the pot.

McEvoy was then left with barely a big blind but somehow he has managed to triple and double his way back to 1,900,000 and is no longer the short stack at the table.

McEvoy - 1,900,000
Toth - 4,500,000
