Roger Franco open-shoved preflop and was snap-called by Evan Ashkarkizhani for slightly less while the rest of the table got out of the way.

Franco tabled 7♥7♦ and was in a race against the A♦8♦ of Ashkarkizhani.

An eight appeared right on the flop of 8♠9♦3♣, but the 7♠ smacked down right on the river to give Franco a set and the J♣ completed the board to earn him the pot while Ashkarkizhani exited.

Franco - 265,000
